After a long conversation with the most important person in my life and some painful wisdom dropped on me, I realized I am not in good shape. I have been so focused on just running I forgot about the rest of my body. So, cross training it is.
I did my first obstacle course race, Battlefrog Seattle, I wanted to see what I could do. I found out that my upper body is weak. Now to focus on full body functional fitness.
The last peice of cross training is a mountain to bike. So on vacation in found some trails and did my first ride this week and it was awesome. Yes, I wrecked nothing bad but man was it fun. You will bust your quads.
